| YAMAHA SG-2000 1983- Made MIJ JV This SG is 3rd generation SG-2000 which started from 1983. The head is called as "Small Head" type. The truss rod cover position is different from previous SG-2000. The production year was estimated from the serial and body binding position. It seems that the top coat plain paint of Yamaha SG is easy to become the milky. This guitar's top coat has been changed. The metal part also bit rusted. Well, It is 27 years old guitar. Beside outlook, this guitar is good condition. The neck is straight. the frets are O.K. for playing. I think you don't need to re-fret now. The body back have many dents. Please check it by pictures. But the Front/Top is good condition except bottom part. There are milky paint damage as typical Yamaha. But there are mainly back and side. Pick Guard was missed. Of course the sound is absolutely SG-2000 ! Well, it is not collection guitar, for players. This guitar hasn't got a hard case, will be shipped with Soft Carrying case. Please enjoy Yamaha Vintage SG ! |
