YAMAHA SX-60
This is very old Yamaha original designed guitar.
SX sears were twin guitar of SG series at the beginning.
However, SG because pretty popular model by Santana used.
SX proto type was called as SG-125-2. It was almost same specification
with SG, only the body design was
different. Yamaha put the more strat taste on SX sears with long scale
(same with Fender Strat) and single
coil pick up.
Yamaha modified SX series in 1976, added the humbucking PU type.
Well, this SX is very early time model.
The neck is straight. The truss rod is O.K. The frets are not really worn.
It is still O.K.
The electric circuits are fine. I have another SX but it was very poor
condition compare with this guitar
(well, it is under rebuilt).
It seems that the parts are all original. There are some possibility that
the previous owner changed the
nut. Beside it, I felt it is original condition.
The sound like... SG (Like Gibson) with single PU. I felt the neck PU is
warm tone compare with Strat.
The neck is not fat. This is almost same with early Yamaha SG series.
The body is incredibly right weight. It is only 2.88.
Body wood was dried. There are dents and scratches as old guitar. The body
back has buckle scratches.

This guitar has hard case but I think it is not original case. However,
we could deliver this case with
this guitar.
Well, it is pretty rare guitar.
