YAMAHA SR-400 Stratocaster 1977-79 made This is a bit complicated Yamaha guitar, I have several Yamaha SR always. However, some of guitars can not be repaired because of much modification. I took the neck from middle 70's made SR-400. The body(79-80 made Yamaha SR) is joined. What is different? ealry 70's made PU cavity and Late 70's were pretty different. The early 70's one PU cavity are not like Original Fender. The Cavity go though the wire is not at center. It is on right side of PU cavity. Late 70's are just like Fender original. The body outlook is good, there are small, not really visible dents and scratches. The neck is straight, the frets are proper condition. The grip shape is like C. The finger board is maple wood bonded type with 41mm nut width. The Body is SEN 2PLY 3-4P old fashion construction. The weight is 3.74 Kg. The metal parts are fine. The electric circuit are good condition too. These are changed from early 70's one to this guitar. The strings tuner are bit tight. Maybe need some lubricant and frequent using. I love Yamaha SR startocaster. Well good tone and reasonable price compare with other JV guitars. Well, several professional people use this guitar This guitar has the original Please enjoy Yamaha Vintage SR |
