YAMAHA SF-3000RS
Yamaha made many unique guitars in 80's.
SF series were made from the stratocaster and Les Paul mixed concept.
This SF-3000 was added as hard Rock type guitar, I think.
List price of SF-3000 was 60,000 Japanese Yen over 30 years ago.
The scale is same with Start, has 22 frets. The Tremolo unit is 2 pole
type.
But previous owner lost the Tremolo arm. He made the bushing to connect
this unit,
you could use the strat arm now.
According to Yamaha catalog, this guitar should have Tap switch on Volume
pot.
But it hasn't got now. Maybe, previous user took off.
The body should be alder 2P with 3.3Kg. Pretty light weight.
The neck seems to be Maple 1P. with 22F rose finger board. It is not fat
neck.
The nut is 43.6 mm It should be Gibson LP scale.
The condition of this guitar is good except Non Original arm.
The tone is quite good. You could play this guitar for real heavy metal
sound.
We are going to ship this guitar with used Gigbag (not Yamaha).
