| YAMAHA SC-7000 Through Neck Early 80's made Yamaha made many unique guitars in 80's. SC series are made from the stratocaster concept. This SC-7000 is top model of Yamaha SC series. The body shape is very closed to Yamaha SF series. SF has stop tail piece and Humbuckers. Well, As I said, SC has 3 single PUs as Start. List price of SC-7000 was 120,000 Japanese Yen over 30 years ago. I guess if Yamaha makes this guitar again now, it should be over US$ 2,500 easy. They made this guitar with their best technology that time. The scale is same with Start, has 22 frets. The tremolo unit is 2 pole type. But previous owner lost the tremolo arm (If you could make the bushing to connect this unit, you could use the strat arm). The specifications on Yamaha catalog is; Body Alder Neck Maple/Mahogany 5pc Through Body Joint Finger board Ebony Color Tobacco Sunburst Pick Ups C-II Single Coil ×3 Circuit Vol./Tone(F&R Tap Sw.) / 5-Way Selector Switch The condition of this guitar is good except missing arm. The tone is quite good. Maybe, many people expect like strat tone. But this is different tone which is SC-7000 original. We ae going to ship this guitar with used Gigbag (not Yamaha).
