SR-700 Top model of Yamaha made stratocaster
This SR-700 is 2P body type.
The body condition is good as 30 years old guitar.
However, when I got this guitar, the electric controls were damaged.
I have changed the all potentiometers, capacitor and output jack (switch craft made)
The selector switch is 5-way original.
The PUs are fine. These are all original condition.
Well, now this guitar offers pretty good tone.
The body is SEN (Japanese Ash) 2P. It has a little dents and scratches on body.
But these are not serious, as you can see on picture.The weight is 3.49Kg.
The neck is straight and truss rod is adjustable.
The frets are worn. It should say 60% condition. It is still O.K. for coming several years.
It depends on how hard you will play. The nut is 41.6mm
1 pc The original tuner knob was missed. I have changed all to Greco 70's
made (Gotoh) tuners.
These are almost same specification with Yamaha original rotomatic. There
are no extra holes for tuners.
Well, SR-700 was a top model of Yamaha strato series.
Yamaha Strat is one of good choice for JV guitars.
This guitar will be shipped with Gig case (not Yamaha original).
