| Tokai Stratocaster Springy Sound ST-45 1979 Made This guitar was made in 1979 ? Maybe so from serial number. I have reassembled this guitar for inspection and checking. The modeling was specified by "45" stamped at the finger board end. The pick Up is U stamped original. I have changed the pick guard. It was cracked. I put the new 57 style pick guard, however, all circuit were just moved as show. Brass made ground plate were in. The selector switch is spring type. It should be original. The body has many dents and cracks. Body top, we could see the paint crack shown on pics. But, these cracks made very good vintage looks. The weight of this guitar is 3.3Kg. The body material is SEN (Japanese Ash) 3P. The neck is straight. The truss-rod is fine. The frets are worn, but still O.K. for playing. The high position, there are strings dents. I have repaired it. Now it is smooth. I also changed the parts a bit. The PU cover was changed from other Tokai guitar. When I got, it hasn't got the cover. The Knobs are missing too. I put 70's made other knobs. The bridge assembling should be original except fixed screws. The screws are missing too. So, I put 70's made better screws from my stock. Well, it is not 100% complete original guitar. However, all parts are 70's made. I keep this guitar with better condition. The guitar will be delivered with second hand soft case (not Tokai Original) Well, please try the vintage Tokai !!! |
