Tokai Stratocaster Springy Sound 1979(?) made
This should be 1979 made springy Sound ST-42YS.
We could spcify it from the serial, Tuner, Bridge saddle logo, Gray U stamped PU and
neck marking.
The condition is good. The neck is straight and frets are proper (a bit worn at lower position).
The neck shape is like C. The Nut width is 42.6mm
The body seems to be Sen 3P body with 3.4Kg. I think it is standard weight of Tokai ST.
I have checked the under pick guard and etc...The wiring are original Tokai.
The bridge and Tuner are original.
I'm not sure the body material. It should be Sen Wood (Japanese Ash).
The neck is fine. It is straight and truss rod is working.
The previous owner took of "Springy sound" logo. Tokai logo is still there.
No so many scratches and dents. I could see about 5mm dia dent on the top.
Others are not really visible.
We are going to ship this guitar with used Tokai Gig Bag.
Tremolo arm is missing. We will ship the replacement Tremolo arm.
