Tokai Stratocaster ST-50 1977 made First of all, I should tell you that I could not specify this guitar well. The neck is abosolutely Tokai Springy sound type. However. it hasn't got modeling numbering at the end of finger board. I have checked the springy sound history. Tokai ST was started in 1977. The early products hasn't got the numbering on the neck. Also, the Tokai book said that the neck joint plate is narrow type. It didn'r say anything about tje PU. Normally, the Tokai has gray bobbin Gotoh made PU. Anyway, I guess this ST is early Tokai made. But I could not specofy the modeling and specification well. The neck is straight and no twisting. The truss rod is adjustable. The frets are proper condition. Only little bid worn. The neck shape is like soft V. The Nut width is 43.45mm The body seems to be Sen 3P body with 3.45Kg. I think it is light standard weight as older Japanese made Starto. I have checked the under pick guard and etc...The wiring looks like Tokai pretty much. But it hasn't got the thin brass plate to connect as ground wire. But the pots like Tokai old used. I think the bridge is not original. I have several ST before. I guess it is not. Well, not really bad condition body. Please refer the pictures.! We are going to ship this guitar with used Gig Bag. Tremolo arm is missing. We will ship the replacement Tremolo arm. Please try JV guitar! |
