Fender Japan Squire Fujigen 82 made JV serial 57 model
I have been handling many Strat not only Fender also many JV manufacturers.
Many people asked us to get the JV serial Fender Japan Strat.
It is getting high and high pricing.
This is squire ST JV serial 57 model. According to the several JV related books,
Squire SST-50 is almost same with Fender Japan ST-57-65. Squire had a Gotoh Alnico PUs instead of
U.S.A. made PUs.
The body is probably alder 3P. The neck is Maple with Rose Finger Board (Slab type).
It is 3.66Kg. The neck width is 41.25mm
It looks good from the front. However, the previous user took off the paint of back
(see pictures). I don't mind this paint off, but if you are collector, I could not recommend you to
take this guitar.
Also, I replaced all position marks to Mother of Pearl inlay (this is real shell, not plastic).
The position marks were missing when I got this guitar.
The pick ups are all original. I have changed the volume pot (Japanese
made), selector switch
(Oak 5-way) ,Jack (switchcraft) and Highpass capacitors.
It became good condition and tone!
The Tremolo units are not original. I have changed the inertia block (original
is very poor) to
steel made (our original chrome plated). The screws are all stainless even pick guard.
I keep the original screws and block even bad condition.
If you are looking for good tone JV guitar, this is it.
But not suitable for collectors.
The guitar will be delivered with used Gigbag.
