Fernder Japan ST57 Sunburst MIJ E serial + Van Zandt PUs
This is probably made in 1986 by Fujigen.
As you know, many people are looking for JV,A,E and older serial Fender Japan.
This is early time E serial closed to JV serial time.
When I got this guitar, the pick ups are changed to other brands PUs.
I think the body and neck is pretty good, then, I put the Van Zandt Blues Pickups.
with CTS and etc...(all vintage looks wire and oil capacitor)
The sound became like almost real vintage tone!
It is attack sensitive and responds to very light pick attack, as well as having
a lot of snap with a heavy attack. Can be mellow or bright depending on the style of play.
The bridge is US size and the tuner is Gotoh Lock type (Vintage looks) now.
The body is Alder (3P) and 1P maple neck. The weight is 3.44Kg.
The nut width is 42.95mm like C grip.
We could see very small scratches on the top bottom.
The visible scratches are only this.
This is really upgrade guitar.
