GRECO RG-100 Early 80's Fujigen made Rikckenbucker 360 model I'm not sure about the Rickenbucker guitars so much. My impression of Rickkenbucker guitar is just Beatles guitar. or Heart Breakers ? I have been looking for the Rick replica by Greco, Fernandes and Aria. But I don't know the original Rickenbucker sound. I only listen it on CD. I just felt it should be light tone. more thin, clear tone. If so, this Greco tone is very sweet on Neck/Mid Pu. Should I say warm ? For me, pretty sweet, then bridge PU is sharp enough. I think the bridge sound probably close to original Rick. The condition of this guitar is good. there are not so many scratches and dents. Well, the frets are a bit worn. The metal parts are bit rusted. The body weight is 3.74Kg. The catalog said the body and neck are Maple made. The nut width is 43.9mm. As Greco guitar collector, this guitar hasn't got the serial number on the neck. It is very rare. The pickups are different from the later Rick 360 model. Maybe, this guitar is pre-production or sample guitar. This guitar hasn't the hard case. It is not original shaped. Probably for Semi-Aco guitar. Please try the Japanese Vintage Guitar !!! |
