GRECO SA-450 Semi Acoustic Early 1973 s made This is first time I got this Semi-Accoustic model. I knew this model since I started to playing the guitar. It was one of our dreaming guitar that time. Well, I'm not sure why Kanda Shokai started small body Semi-Accoustic. Even Gibson didn't offer small type. I should say this is JV original designed Semi-Accoustic. For the logo mark, this guitar was made in 1973. This model hasn't got the center block. It sound like more acoustic type. The top and back material are both white sycamore (should be ply wood). The side...Icould not specify. The neck is probably Maple 3P and ebony finger board. Greco catalog said. This model changed SA-500 in 1975. The difference between this model and 1975 is finger board material. IUt has bennchanged from Ebony to Rose wood. The PU was named as U-1000 from 1975 (looks alomost same with Greco logo on PU cover). The condition of this guitar is good. There are no scratches and dents (very small). The parts are mostly original. I think Pick guard was missing, the tail piece was changed to ES-335 type. Maybe the knobs were changed. Well, alomost like original looking. I saw this guitar many tiems. But most of them have the crack around the neck joint. This is pretty good condition. Maybe, I will look for the parts, make this guitar as original condition. |
