Specifications (MFG catalog & Actual Check)
This is MG-600 Melody Maker model made in 1975 only. The logo mark is a diffeent from late 70's Greco Logo. Here, the collector said Gneco logo guitar. I had several Greco melody maker before. However, these are 80's made guitars. This is exactly I have been looking for. Body is probably Maho...I think the neck is maple (not maho). This construction is early 70's Greco standard. Therefore, this is not good replica of Gibson. I would say more collector's guitar. The sound is a bit bright compare with other 80's made Melody maker. The condition of this guitar is very good. We could see small dent on the neck head. Beside it, this is great, it is incredible good as 36 years old. The neck and frets are fine. The electric circuits too. I don't have a intention to offer this guitar. Please enjoy just have a look! |
