GRECO BC Mockingbird Replica Mahogany Body
I'm collecting the B.C. Rich replica, Fernandes, Aria, Greco and Kasuga
made.
This is all Mahogany body Mockingbird replica.
From serial number, we could specify this is made by Fujigen in 1980.
So, it is over 30 years old guitar.
According to the Kanda Shokai, they didn't offer this model on their official
catalog.
It should be made for the custom guitar shop made guitar.
I could see the same guitar on WEB site (Japanese collector's). The serial is very closed.
Probably, Kanda made the same guitars several units.
I could remember that sometimes Kanda Shokai Sales brought the limited model and asked us to stock
when I was a part time shopkeeper.
I have the Hawaiian Koa made Aria Pro-II Mockingbird.
I feel this Maho body is providing a bit dry tone.
The neck is 1P (GRECO BC-1300 is 3P around neck head) with ebony finger board.
The nut width is 43.45 and flat (thin) feel neck.
The body material is Maho solid with 3.14Kg. It is pretty light weight.
The tuner is Grover 109 Imperial. The bridge is probably Badass.
I didn't check the PUs detailed, however, it should be Dimarzio Dual Sound.
It looks like (I don't have an intention to sell this guitar, so, I didn't open yet).
The scratches and dents are on the body. Well, it is not great looking.
But for 30 years guitar,
I could tell it is Mint as my evaluation. The extra holes are on the bottom
for the strap pin.
