Fernandes Burny RSG-60 1980+ This should be 80's made Fernandes SG guitar. I have been collecting many guitars past 20 years. There were really good guitars and poor guitars. Recently, the Japanese buyer is paying much money for the Japanese Vintage guitars. It is pretty good act to see the good days those guitars. However, I could not tell all guitars are fine. They are paying for the brand name only without quality. I do not like recent Fernandes brand guitars. Some of them are not Japanese made. As everybody knew, Fernandes haven't got their own factory. They have been asking Kawai, Matsumoku,Tokai and etc... I'm not sure who built this SG guitar. They stopped the operation in 1987. So, there are some possibility this guitar was made by Matsumoku. Depending on how busy each factories were, they asked other factories to help and support the guitar building. This is so funny. They were something like guitar community in Nagano. Back to this guitar. This guitar should be 1980+ made. It has the mahogany body and neck. All original condition (except tuner...I could not remember I have changed it or not). The neck is fine and frets are proper condition. The body back has thin scratches. Good condition, Good Era JV guitar! |
