Fernandes Burny FSG-70 1976 This is pretty old original condition Burny FSG. I have another P-100 type pickups mounted. Probably, almost same time, this guitar was made. Fernandes had a great guitar producer that time. Mr. Katsumi Omote who, after that, started ESP and Moon guitars. Most of Fernandes guitars in that time, were produced by Mr. Omote. According to his FB story. Fernandes sent him for the States to collect many guitars. They studied and made replica guitars that time. It was not easy to build the guitar even they have mane good guitar sample. Well, they did not have the internet, so one by one, they checked, inspect, guess... Well, Mr.Omote was actually wanting to built the original design guitars by studying. We could learn it by his guitar making spirit even now. But management got a great sales, so, they sticked to produce more replica. These would made the "Lawsuit Guitars". Anyhow, Mr. Omote left the company and started ESP with Mr. Shiino and others I have heard. Anyway, these time guitars were very good quality guitars. Fernandes is not manufacturer, they have been asking the sub-constructors made. This guitar was probably made by Kawai (They have many staff from Teisco). The body material is not 1P mahogany. It should be sandwich type. But, it looks beautiful, I love it. The neck joint heel is like 60's Gibson style. Good Era JV guitar! |
