TEISCO WG-4L This guitar is not really my JV guitar definition. (my definition is 1973-1983 is real JV for me). However, this is real JV guitar. I didn't pay attention for those 60's guitar. I've been keeping this guitar for my collection for a long time. I have cleaned all. I took off all parts. The electric circuits are checked and cleaned too. These are pretty fine. 4 original PUs are pretty clear tone. 4 PU selector switches, 1 tone selector, 1V and 1T. The original tone knob was replaced to Strat knob. The neck is straight. The grip is just like Les Paul type. The truss rod is adjustable. The frets are not worn but it should be originally low frets. 4th Strings tuner bushing is partly cracked. It is still O.K. for keeping tune. You could see paint crack between finger board and neck. I think it is not serious issue. The nut is original. It looks like replace, but just took it off when I clean. I think it is a but lower...But I didn't change because I want to keep this with original condition. The body paint is so so as 40 years old guitar. But, it still have a good looking. Well, Metal parts are a bit rusted. Teisco guitar should have metal logo mark on the neck head. This guitar hasn't got it. But it has the production plate below neck plate. We are going to ship this guitar with Gigbag. Enjoy real JV guitar! |
