BOSSAXE Actor-VI Bass

Bossaxe guitar is produced by Mr. H. Shiino after H.S. Anderson.
He established his own company and started the guitar shop "PACO" in Shibuya, Tokyo (SHIINO MUSICAL INSTRUMENT CORP)
Bossaxle is a brand he used before Vesta Graham or Vestax.
Some reader of this WEB site asked Mr. Shiino conducted all ESP guitars?
Well, as far as I knew, he doesn't know anything after he left ESP.

I have several bossaxe guitars here. One is trans. orange colored. It has much beautiful flamed wood in use.
I guess that PACO was very successful and made much profit. Therefore, they started own high end guitar and
bass with best materials.

As a major feature, BOSSAXE brand products have very good wood quality.So, even now, those guitars are still
fine except the electric circuits (mostly damaged by aged).They have special pick ups. each pole piece have the separate coiled bobbin.
So, this bass PU has the same construction. PACO used the special potetiometer which we could not find out on
after market.

This bass has the original pickups and these are still fine, but the potentiometer (volume) has a trouble (not stop, turn).
Well, it still can use, but it make you not happy. So, I have changed the original pickups to pretty old EMG.
Maybe I could find out the replacement potentiometer in future, I hope. Therefore, I could try to rewire it.
Yes, I keep original PU and circuits.

Back to this bass specifications. The body is maple though neck type. The both body wings are flame maple 1P.

The condition is generally fine. we could see small dents. The tuner is a bit rusted, but mechanically no problem.
Of course, the neck, frets are all fine. So far, I do not have an intention to sell this bass. awai F2B Through Neck bass

I'm not sure when this bass was built. Probably, mid of 80's made.
I've checked Kawai old Catalog, however, the same specification model was not listed.
