Ibanez Musician MC924 91 made MC924 bass. This bass maybe as a conclusion of MC series bass. As you may know, Ibanez doesn't produce MC series now. I'm not interested in the current series and didn't play those too. Probably, the current bass are fine. Anyway, 91 MC924t is different from 70-80 made model. It has Maple 3P though neck construction. Probably, Ibanez took the walnuts as cost effective. However, it is still fine to make very long sustain and good durability. Many people said about the weight of MC, it is pretty heavy. It made a pretty heavy tone, anyhow. When I get this bass, it is very regret, but the pre-amp control was damaged and could not repair it. So, I out the new Bartolini pre-amp. Well, it works very well. And I love to play this bass very much. I every time felt that MC bass is always offering the easily and smoothly playing. |
