Saymour Duncan DJ-100R 1989-90 ESP Made JAZZ Bass model Several my friends who has been working for music industry here told me that early made Seymour Duncan was pretty good tone. These early time guitars and bass were made by Yubi Sound Lab. You could find these here, but very limited numbers are available. This Duncan bass is made by ESP. not Yubi. After ESP started, the quality had been very stable, I felt. Yes, Yubi made were pretty good, but it depends on your luck. Sometimes, the wood is unstable. The body wood is ash, I'm not sure how many piece of wood. It is approx. 4.32Kg. The neck is 1P maple with rose wood. The nut size is 39 mm. Pretty good tone. This is not really JV bass. only 23-24 years old guitar. But it is good MIJ guitar. ESP has stopped the production of Seymour Duncan guitars. It is just rumors that Fender claimed ESP and this series was obsoleted |
