Guitar Carte
Teisco Jazz Bass 70's made I don't have enough knowledge of Teisco. Because Teisco was leading manufacturer in 1960's. When I was Junior High school, they are not active manufacturer. I remember I tried to purchase Teisco electric guitar. But it was not replica of Fender or Gibson. Anyway, I knew Teisco made many replica early 70's. This is one of them. I guess they maybe asked to make this bass to Matsumoku. I feel it from the body construction. I'm not sure the body material. It is heavy, so, probably Japanese Sen or other wood from North of Japan. The neck is probably Maple (or Japanese Maple) 3-4P. Truss Rod is work and neck is straight now. It is about 4.64Kg. The nut width is 38mm as Jazz Bass. I have changed the volume pot. That's all. It is almost original condition. It is good bass. But many people didn't pay attention. Because Teisco is not popular in 70's. Well, this is history teller bass. If you like to have it, I think it would be good collection and playable bass. We will ship this bass with used Gig Bag. |
