Fender Japan JB62-115 CAR Fujigen Made MIJ JV serial
This is good condition JV serial Jazz Bass.
According to the Fender Japan Catalog, this model have U.S.A. Made PU.
I have checked it, it looks like so.
I also checked the electric components. These are US made too.
Well, the neck date is 12-17-82. The body has A red stamp.
The serial started from JV2xxxx
I'm wondering the body paint is nitro or not. The catalog said it is Nitro.
I could not see any melting. I could see some paint cracks. It should be Nitro.
Well, 115 is only Nitro paint. Also 2V2T control is 115 only.
Tone knobs are not smooth, like click. I don't know this is original or not.
But, it is functionally O.K.
The wood should be the alder. The weight is 3.7Kg. It is pretty light weight.
Well, this is early JV serial JB bass typical weight.
The neck is maple 1P + Rose finger board with 38.65mm nut width.
The tuner is reverse type on. The bridge suddle is spiral type.
The body condition is so so. There are bit scratches and dents. it is 29 years old bass.
Think about the age, this looks is vintage looking.
I have just put the new pickguard on. This is not Fender Japan original.
Well, the tone is beautiful. I love it very much.
The metal parts are proper condition, not really rusted yet.
We are going to ship this bass with used hard case (not Fender Original)
