Fresher FP-358 Precision Bass (Chushin Gakki Made)
The distributor (and whole Seller), Kyowa shokai, was bankrupted recently
(May 2011).
According to the several source, their sales has been dropping a lot after
Lehman Shock.
Japanese music business is getting shrinking now.
I personally like Fresher guitar and bass. Well, these were not expensive
range instruments.
However, Kyowa tried to reduce the cost and offered lower price than Greco,
Fernandes and Tokai products.
Early days Fresher were not good replica. But like this bass, this is 3rd
Generation, it became a good replica.
Well, the Chushin Gakki started better quality manufacturing.
The construction of this bass is O.K. This pick guard has a cut around
the neck end for truss rod adjusting.
Well, that's all. The neck is straight, Truss rod is working and the fret
are proper (almost no worn).
The maple 1P (only head 2P bonding) and bonded Maple finger board. The
nut width is 40.9 mm
I'm not sure the body material. It should be Sen 3-4P body think about
the other Fresher guitars.
This is not Ply wood, It is solid body, anyway,
Well, this bass is not really high grade staff. But it is pretty good condition.
