Fender Japan PB62-55 CAR Fujigen Made MIJ JV serial
This is good condition JV serial Precision Bass.
According to the Fender Japan Catalog, this model have Japanese Made PU type.
When I got this bass, original (Gotoh) bridge PU was replaced to EMG type PU.
Therefore, I have changed both PU to Fender USA made original P-Bass PU.
The wiring was also changed to CTS pot, Orange drop, Switchcraft output jack
with WBT silver soldering. Well, the wire is Belden Silver coated copper hook up.
The pick guard is also changed to Mojotone USA.
Well, it is not original condition, upgraded for player.
The wood, it looks like alder from the neck pocket. (Fender Japan catalog said Alder or basswood).
The weight is 3.95Kg
The neck is maple 1P (Nut Width 42.4mm - 1983 March 18 date).
Truss Rod is working but tighten maybe 8-90%. Currently, the neck is straight and good feel.
The frets are proper condition.
The body condition is so so. There are scratches and dents. it is over 25 years old bass.
Think about the age, this looks is vintage looking.
This bass is Poly finished, not Nitro, anyway.
The metal parts are proper condition.
We are going to ship this bass with used (70's made) black hard case.
