Fender Japan Fujigen made JV serial SJB-55
This is good condition JV serial Squire Jazz Bass..
When I got this bass, I have checked the neck date, it should be 17-11-84(?).
84 can not clearly visible. However, it should be Original. the neck plate
said "JV" serial number.
The pick guard is never attached with this bass. There are no holes for pick guard.
The neck is pretty slim type with 39.2mm nut width. Feel very good.
The finger board is slab type.
The weight is 4.09 Kg. It maybe Alder or Basswodd.
Fender Japan catalog said alder, Ash or bass wood...
I feel it should be alder...For the body material, please judge from the
picture. I could not guarantee.
The body condition is good. There are a few scratches and dents. However, it is over
25 years old bass. Very regretfully, the previous owner put the additional
strong guide or something on the head.
There are 3 small screw holes.
I have changed the screws and springs around bridge. One height adjust
screw was missing.
Now, I put the stainless steel screws and springs.
The tone is pretty good.
We will ship this bass with Gigbag (not Fender Original).
