GRECO GOB-900 1978 Fujigen Made
GRECO started the GO series though neck guitar and bass in 1977.
These are made by Fujigen same with Ibanez. in 1978-79, Ibanez started musician series.
Well, both series are twin products even a bit design are different.
Of course, this series were developed by a huge influence from Alembic
guitars and bass.
This bass is early time product, 1978 from serial.
The body is Sen 2-3P ? The Top and back have thin walnut sandwich.
The neck is 7P maple and walnut though neck.
The weight is 4.76Kg.
The neck is straight. The truss rod is working. But the truss rod cover
is missing.
The body has several dents and scratches as 33 years old bass.
Around the jack, maybe the previous owner fall with cable?, there are damaged.
The previous user fixed it a bit, But I checked and repaired it with New
metal output jack plate.
You could see a bit paint cracking around. But I think it would not be problem.
I have changed output jack (Switchcraft) and volume pod (Gotoh 500KB).
These were not well, changed.
The PU mount screws are all changed to new Stainless screws.
The all metal parts are clean up. the stud head of bridge are damaged.
Functionally, this is not really problem.
It is pretty smooth neck with good tone.
We are going to send this guitar with used gig bag.
