Fender Japan 1984 made JV serial JB62-60
This is good condition JV serial Jazz Bass.
According to the Fender Japan Catalog, this model have Japanese Made PU type.
When I got this bass, original (Gotoh) bridge PU was damaged.
Therefore, I have changed both PUs to Fender USA made Jazz Bass PUs.
The wiring was also changed to CTS pot, Orange drop, Switchcraft output jack
with WBT silver soldering. Well, the wire is Belden Silver coated copper hook up.
Well, it is not original condition, upgraded for player.
The wood, it looks like alder 3P (Fender Japan catalog said Alder or basswood).
The neck is maple 1P with rose wood finger board (Nut Width 38.8mm - 1984 date).
It is 4.47Kg
The body condition is good. There are a few scratches and dents. However, it is over
20 years old bass. It is almost like new at guitar shop. Well, it is not Nitro Painting.
This bass is Poly finished.
The metal parts are good condition.
The original JV serial time gigbag (shown on photo) will be delivered
