Fernandes 85 made PJ Bass
I have handle this bass series several units. I don't know why the Japanese users didn't pay attention so much.
Many poeple like te replica of old Fender, even it is poor material in use.
Actually, this is a good bass for 1st step of JV bass.
The outlook is fine. We can't see serial scratches and dents.
The body should be alder 3-4P with 4.2 Kg, the neck is maple 1P with Rose.
The neck nut width 40.45mm, more like Precision bass a bit slim. The neck grip is like C.
The quality of 80's Fernandes was stable as leading manufacturer.
So, this bass ca be base of modification or just use as current condition.
I have changed the 3 Potentiometers, Output Jack, switchcraft and 3 knobs.
The weak point of PJ bass is the balance of PU output.
Most of case, Split PB PU is bigger than JB PU.
How to mix it! It is a key of PJ style bass.
Of course, the current sound is good. I like it!
We are going to ship this bass with used Soft Carrying case.
