Fernandes Kawai 1975 made Jazz Bass
This bass is early Fernandes Jazz Bass made by Kawai in 1975.
It has the serial numbers on the finger board end.
The logo is 2nd generation spaghetti type.
Well, so, this is very limited production model
The body is silverheart 3-4P. It is very heavy body 4.68 Kg.
The Fernandes 75 catalog said this is best wood
The neck is straight, frets and electric circuits are all proper condition.
The nut width is 38 mm, the grip is like Standard C.
The pick guard was took off. And the truss rod area is grooved a bit, made
it easier to adjust.
I tried to put the replacement pick guard, but the Pick Up pitch is slightly different from
current Fender Japan size (maybe we could put it, if we change the PU to
current size).
I want to keep the PUs as original condition. So, I didn't put the pick
guard.
The hard case is not original one as shown on picture.
We will ship this case with this bass.
Well, it is good tone bass!
We are going to ship this bass with used Soft Carrying case.
