Fernandes 78-79 Tokai Made Precision Bass
This bass is very right weight precision bass. I have checked the body,
but it seems the Sen (Japanese Ash).
The body color is black but, it maybe re-paint on the top. I could see
that the bridge has been removed.
I guess that other bridge was set before.
When I get this bass, we could not hear any sound...
I checked the PU. PU is fine. The circuits was damaged.
Therefore, I changed the following:
1) New Pick Guard
2) CTS Brass Shaft Potentiometer
3) Switchcraft Output Jack
4) MIJ Scud dome metal knob
5) MIJ Scud PU mount cushion
6) New Stainless 304 saddle screws
Well, the circuits area is all brand new.
The neck is Maple 1P 38.6 mm nut width. The frets are a bit worn but still
proper condition.
The body has many scratches and small dents. As I said, it maybe re-painted
top.
The sound is good. I like it!
We are going to ship this bass with used Soft Carrying case.
