| Aria Diamond Les Paul TV model Diamond brand guitars were distributed by Arai Trading. They have stopped to use this brand now. This guitar was made by Matsumoku probably. I should describe a bit about Matsumoku. They started this guitar manufacturing as a sub-constructor of Fujigen. Aria has asked them to try the guitar manufacturing instead of Guyatone (Tokyo Sound). Matsumoku has been sick of the position of sub-constructor of Fujigen. Then, both companies agreed to start the Aria brand guitar. This guitar made maybe late 70's and early 80's. Looks very cool. The only problem are on the body top. There are paint crack. The previous owner tried to fix, but not really great job. But as vintage guitar, it should be allowable, I think. (it is not really visible on the photo). The neck, frets and electric circuit are fine. Good P-90 type tone. It is good Rock'n Roll Guitar ! Just try old Matsumoku made guitar !! |
