| Aria Pro II PE-R80D 1981 made MIJ ARIA Pro II stopped the Gibson and Fender Replica and concentrate to develop the own design guitars. PE series are most famous line of ARIA Pro-II. It has a patented neck heelless cutaway ARIA-Pro II is still producing the PE series as their main products. It means that the design of this guitar is one of perfect design. PE-R80 production started around 1981. This is PE-R80D, the body material is a different from standard R80. PE-R80 has both sized arched process. The body is maple + Maho + Maple. But R80D is Maple body type. So the body weight is pretty heavy. Also Pick up is Dimarzio as standard. Aria said that the originally R80 was made by all maple body. However, endorsers said it is pretty heavy. They also like Les Paul tone. Then, Aria added Maple +Maho + Maple. Therefore, D type is actually original of R80. The sound, is pretty heavy, more heavy than standard R80. I like it very much. 2 mini-swtiches could make the Humbuckers as single. It is quite good for rhythm stroke. It's great !
