Ganson (Kasuga) early 70's Telecaster model This is very funny Telecaster Replica. Well, it is not really good replica. But we could feel it is very pretty. When, I get this guitar, all electric circuits are gone include the PUs. So, I re-assemble all. Just keep the control plate and bridge. Both PUs are 70's made Strat PU (Maybe Greco or Heerby, I could not remember). I processed to attach these for this guitar cavity. The electric circuits are all new. Japanese made potentiometers (250K), Switchcraft selector, Switchcraft output Jack and orange drop capacitor are wired. NO wood processing. I have also changed the rusted screws to the new one. The bridge parts are just cleaned up. The neck is straight. The truss rod is still O.K. The frets are worn, but still we could play (If you feel you don't lie, please do it by yourself). The neck is 3P with Maple finger board. The head is laminated with flame maple! I'm not sure about the body. It seems to be Agatis wood? 2PLY and don't know how many piece. I'm playing this guitar very often now. This is pretty cute guitar. The sound is fine for me. I don't know how you will feel. The neck PU cover is pretty big. So, it covered the sound worm just like Jazz Guitar tone. I would say this is real JV guitar !!! |
