Suzuki Stratocaster (Kiso Suzuki Violin) The Manufacturer name is Kiso Suzuki Violin Co., Ltd. They made many brand guitar as OEM base. Thunder/Tomson and Suzuki were their main brand name. This company was merged by ESP. Now you could see the ESP Kiso factory, it used to be Kiso Suzuki Violin. Kiso Suzuki Violin made mainly Violin. Then, They started the acoustic guitar range. They use "Suzuki" brand and "Three S" mainly. The electric guitars which they made were beginner class model mostly. This Suzuki Stratocaster is pretty much closed to Thunder (well, same factory made and use many same parts on). So, the construction is not prefect replica of Fender Strat. The condition of this guitar is great. Well, it should be over 25 years old guitar, even so, it is still beautiful looking. The neck, frets and electric circuits are proper condition. A bit different tone from Start (I felt bass tone is weak, because of their bend steel plate string block). I personally like Kiso Suzuki's technical design. They reduced the production cost a lot to develop like bend steel plate block. I could feel their soul to make a proper guitars in 70's-80's. I have been collecting many JV guitars. If you are really fan for JV rare brand guitar and would like to keep the collection (not for re-sell), just ask me, I would consider to sell. Good era's great guitar ! |
