Joodee Stratocaster 57 Model The Manufacturer name should be Dyna Gakki. They are currently producing Fender Japan with Tokai Gakki. Daion is distributing Joodee, so we thought Yamaki made this guitar. However, recently I got an information that Daion asked Dyna. Dyna had just started the company that time. There are some possibilities that early Joddee was made by Dyna, later model was made by Yamaki... Well, I don't have any idea. The condition of this guitar is generally fine. When I got this guitarm there are many rust around the Tremolo unit. So, I took out it and replaced Fender Japan Tremolo unit. The Bridge Pick Up was damaged. So, I replaced the Duncan PU. The previous owner installed the mini switch but not was hooked up. I replaced the brand new switch and re-wired the front PU ON/OFF. So, When the switch turn on, the neck PU will be ON when the Bridge position/Bridge+Middle position are selected. I also changed all potentiometer and jack (Switch Craft) Well, it should be over 25 years old guitar, even so, it is still beautiful looking. The neck and frets are proper condition. It is pretty good tone. I have been collecting many JV guitars. When I got them. most of case, the condition were not really good. I tried to keep the original condition, but if necessary I changed the parts. This guitar is one of sample. Good era's great guitar ! |
