ROJE - Zen-On Stratocaster
Zen-On is largest specialist music publishing company in Japan. The company
was founded by Teiji Shimada in 1931 in Tokyo.
Since the foundation, they have been distributing, particularly, educational
materials not only music, but also instruments which are fitted,
right, secure and good quality for the educational purposes. Therefore,
they have a good distribution net work for music store.(specially
Record Shops) We could imagine easily that they started to sell the electric
guitars. Zen-On started to sell the electric guitar in 1960's.
Well, Roje was introduced in 70's against other guitar manufacturers, Roje
has strat, tele, Les Paul and etc...
However, quality is just beginner level (I don't think serious player would
not purchase the guitar at CD shop).
Anyway, this is brief story of Roje brand.
When I got this guitar, I felt this is almost same with Morris Stratocaster.
Maybe Moridaira Gakki (Morris Japanese company name) made this guitar as
OEM base.
The condition of this guitar is good. Well, it should be over30 years old
guitar.
The neck, frets and electric circuits are proper condition.The truss Rod
cover is actually cool.
I have been collecting many 70's made JV guitar.
If you are really fan for Founder or JV rare brand guitar and would like
to keep the collection (not for re-sell),
just ask me, I would consider to sell.
