EL Maya Metal Pick Guard Strat model
This is El Maya Stratocaster Antique series top model.
The El Maya old catalog said that they made this replica very well.
Well, the body is SEN (Japanese Ash) 1P. Inside, PU cavity is different
from original Fender.
As Japanese Old Guitar, this is good guitar, anyway. I have changed the electric components all.
CTS pot, Belden wire, Orange Drop and German VBT silver content solder
are in use.
The original PUs are not really good tone. So, I replaced them to Greco
late 70's single PUs.
The sound has been changed and we could listen more bass tone. It became
more thick sound.
Well, the pick up can be changed if you like others.
It is good JV guitar, anyway.
