YAMAHA SA-2000BS This Yamaha Guitar was designed at Yamaha's USA Custom Guitar shop. I have heard that some of Yamaha electric guitar was designed in the states. Pacifica guitars? I didn't get 21 century guitars so much. When I see this guitar, it is good designed, I should get it. AES620 features a highly contoured, solid Nato body with a Flame Maple veneer top, fast Nato neck and Rosewood fingerboard. Electronics include an Alnico humbucking neck and Duncan JB bridge pickups, plus active and passive volume controls. Other hot design elements include a low-mass Tun-O-Matic style bridge, plus chrome knobs, tuning machines, toggle switch and logo. Color options include Translucent Dark Red, Royal Blue and Faded Burst. AES-620 was anyway designed for American market. then, Yamaha started the distribution here. I think the sales was not really great here. No idea why? Here, still many players want to get the Gibson and Fender legend. For me, Yamaha guitars are always giving a good impression. I never purchased Pacifica guitar, But I want to get on of them. It should be good guitar. Of course, SG series are I love. SC series and old days Yamaha. These are all mechanically designed well. But the outlook is not really good. The guitar parts were made mostly original design. These are good, but these are no interchangeable with other guitar manufacturers. They are drowing in tarent. AES620 is simillar design with Les Paul or Paul Reed Smith. The tone of AES is not like Les Paul. I never play PRS guitar. Therefore, no idea AES is similar tone or not. We do not have original case for this guitar, just put into the gig bag! |
