Morris 70's made SG model (left guitar have tremolo unit) As you may know, Morris is a leading acoustic guitar manufacturer and distributor in Japan. They currently concentrate the acoustic guitar. Well, they are still offering the electric model such as H.S. Anderson, Bill Lawrence and overseas made base... In 70's Morris offered Morris Brand electric guitars as other guitar manufacturer here. At the begging, they offered only bolt on type electric even Gibson replica. We could see those Morris guitars on WEB site. However, it is very rare to see the set neck type. This is 3rd Morris Set neck SG for me. Pretty good condition too. The neck, frets and electric circuits, all perfect. Somebody just keep the guitar. I think no modifications. I have same SG guitar, so I put the bigsby type tremolo unit this time. Nobody is interested in Morris Electric guitars. But for me, I love those guitars which many people didn't pay attention, but super rare. The set-neck type SG and Les Paul model are very limited to produce. So I do not have an intention to sell this guitar. As Gibson replica, this is not good one. But considering the Japanese guitar history, this guitar is pretty important. Please just enjoy to have a look ! |
