Chandler Guitar PC-ST
Chandler Guitar is originally started in CA. I think the owner (Mr. Paul Chandler) is still producing guitar there?
Well, I don't know the detailed, however, Mr. Hidesato Shiino, involved this guitar producing here.
His shop PACO sold this brand here both Strat and Tele body in 1989.
The Ash hollow body Strat model show us a bit right tone (middle tone is pretty good) compare
with 70'S ASH BODY STRAT. Yes, it has still good bottom tone. It maybe from body material, still.
I never asked him which manufacture made it, maybe Morris, Terada or Kurokumo...
The body is Ash hollow. It is very difficult to specify the hollow body.
But its weight is only 3.7 Kg.
I suspect this is not hollow body. I should use the inflared sensor to
check it.
The neck is maple with 42.3 nut width. Felt a bit flat wide neck.
It has the 2-carbon rod beside standard truss rod.
The scale is same with Standard strat, but finger board radius is 320R. Well, pretty flat compare with
standard strat.
It is not really Japanese vintage guitar, but it is good history teller
guitar.
