YAMAHA SG-1000 Fretless(Modified)
First time, I heard the sound of fretless electric guitar, was 30 years
ago. His name is Tim Donahue. I can't remember when,
exactly. It seems over 30 years ago. It made me a bit crazy about his Harp
guitar (fretless and some additional strings).
After that, I thought I should get or modify one of my guitars, but never
happened.
However, I always remember it.
A few years ago, I read an article about the fretless guitar again.
Also Vigiver guitar's promotion video Tape, I watched. These remind me
again to start the fretless guitar fever.
I thought I could modified a guitar from my stock. But very luckily, I
found this Yamaha SG-1000 somebody already did it.
I checked the finish of finger board. This is not bad! I did some additional
works and satisfied the modification.
I do not know how to play well. I started it one by one.
Well, I could not play, anyway, if I don't have it.
The sound is absolutely good. I like Yamaha SG tone. So, this is no problem.
Only problem is my play.
