Fender Japan Squire ST-552 Strat MIJ Fujigen made SQ serial
As you may know, Fender has stopped Fender Japan production this year.
Now, New Fender Japanese office is only asking the Dyna Gakki to produce
aerodyne series guitars and basses.
So far, it is only the way you could get Japanese made Fender replica from
the second hand market.
This guitar was made in 83 or 84 made by Fujigen. This is early serial
number with JV serial.
Many people are looking for JV serial. Well, SQ serial were made in same
time as low price series (Squire).
A bit later (almost same time), the market needed lower price Strat replica from Squire series So Fender Japan
just use the same body (Fender Japan JV with cheaper hardware.
When I bought this guitar, this guitar was modified a lot. So, I took off all parts.
The tuner is moon brand (Maybe Gotoh), PU are all brand new Gotoh, all
new pot (one of pot has the ON-OFF).
The bridge saddle and inertia block Well, this guitar has many brand new parts.
I just hate this vintage guitar will be handed like junk guitar.
Now, this is pretty god guitar, you would love it. You could use this guitar
for many music.
The body material is maybe ash or sen 2-3P with 3.75K weight. The neck is maple 1P with C grip
Rosewood finger board. On the neck head, previous user put the bar type
string guide. These holes are anyway closed.
There are scratches and dents as aged guitar.
