I'm thinking this guitar was made by Kawai in 1975.
Well, it is 35 years old guitar.
It is very similar body construction with Fernandes. The hardware is same as Fernandes.
I could see the different only the Pickups.
All PU were damaged. I changed all PU to Greco 70's made Excel marked PU.
Well, it is pretty much Greco 70's tone.
The body is probably Sen. I think John Bennett is not Silver heart wood like Fernandes did.
The weight is so light (3.69Kg). If it is silver heart, it should be over 4Kg.
The neck is Maple 1P + Maple finger board. The neck is like C grip with 40mm nut.
It is very rare guitar. I have several John Bennett guitar.
This is one of good one, I could offer you.
