Oakland (Kiso Suzuki Made) Stratocaster Replica Oakland was distributed by Guitar House (Maybe, guitar shop of Suzuki Violin own) in Osaka. They have both Acoustic guitar and electric. I think most of Japanese collectors knew the Oakland brand as acoustic guitar. Anyway, they offered both Strat and Les Paul replica (I never seen their catalog. I could confirm 2 kinds body designed). Kiso Suzuki was also supplying many OEM guitars for the domestic trading companies here. Well, "Thunder", "Tomson" and "Thomas" are Kiso Suzuki Violin made. Kiso Suzuki Violin was bankrupted many years ago. Now, ESP bought (or took over) their Kiso factory. It is currently ESP Kiso factory The body is probably Sen 3-4P. Pretty light weight, 3.04Kg. The neck is maple 2P (head part) with Bonded Maple finger board. The nut width is 41.95. I feel a bit fat as 54/57, well between C and U grip. This is not really expensive guitar, however, the sound is much better than my expectation. Good dry Strat tone. I would like to use this guitar for slide playing. Anyway, I don't sell this guitar. Just show you as a JV history teller guitar. |
